Internet Plans

(Available to new eligible customers from the 4th August 2008)

Australian Broadband Guarantee subsidised Satellite :

• Contract includes 1.2 m Dish, Gilat 360E 2 way modem and LNB, 25 M Cabling
• Special pricing applies for the first six months for web signups, then regular monthly charges apply

Connection speeds:

• Download/upload speeds as quoted in plan schedule are peak speeds
• All speeds rated at average performance of 60% maximum rate for 75% of coverage period
• For shaped plans, if you exceed your monthly data allowance, your speed will be slowed to 64/64kbps for the remainder of your current billing period.

Connection times:

• Always on - 24 x 7

Australian Broadband Guarantee Plans:

• Harbour IT – data usage over monthly Data Allowance - 5c per Mb
• Installation of Satellite Service (One off fee of $99) for all all plans other than Threshold 1 and 2 or those plans equal to or greater than 2 years in duration
• Installation fee waived for 24 and 36 month agreements
• Harbour IT guarantees not to increase the cost of your service for a minimum of 3 years from connection date

Satellite Plan Terms and Conditions

• Accounts require a valid direct bank debit or credit card authority
• Subscriptions are payable 1 month in advance with any excess data charges billed in arrears
• Subscription fees for the first and last months are billed on a pro-rata basis on the 1^st of the month. ie If you are connected on the 15^th of the month, then the first and last months subscription will be for half a month.

• Customers wishing to use a VOIP service should conduct a trial with their VIOP service provider to see if they are happy with the service before purchasing VOIP hardware or entering into any VOIP agreements

• Off Peak Data Allowance means that portion of the Monthly Data Allowance that can be used by a Customers during each calendar month in off peak times (12:00 am midnight to 6:59 am EST)
• Peak Data Allowance means that portion of the Monthly Data Allowance that can be used by a Customers during each calendar month in peak times (7:00 am to 11:59 pm EST)
