NBN Pricing and Plans
We are pleased to announce our new range of NBN pricing plans. The following plans and pricing are available to customers with NBN Second Release Satellite Services that:
- were initially connected from November 2011 onwards, or
- have been migrated from an NBN First Release Satellite Service

First Release Plan Customers (installs between July-November 2011)
From November 2011 to April 2012, NBN Co will contact these customers and arrange for them to be migrated (dish re-alignment) to NBN Second Release Satellite Services. Customers can choose a Second Release Plan once their services have been successfully migrated. The priority, order and timing of the migration will be determined by NBN Co and not Harbour IT.
Pricing / Plans - The Fine Print
- All NBN plans are offered on a 6 month contract. If you cancel within the first 6 months you will be required to pay the remainder of your contract out.
- All plans include two (2) HarbourSat email accounts. If you wish to apply for further email accounts, please send an email to hit.operations@harbourit.com.au and we will investigate your request.

Once you are connected, your details will be entered in to our accounting system where your first invoice will be entered and emailed to your HarbourSat email address. Your first invoice will in most cases include a part month and a full month service fee to bring you into line with our billing cycle.
- Peak data is available between 11am and 10.59pm (AEST/DST when applicable).
- We do not charge for excess data if you have chosen a shaped plan. However, if you exceed your monthly data allowance , your speed will be slowed to a 128/128kbps. If you have chosen an unshaped plan you will be charged at 8 cents per MB over your included data allowance.
- The Peak Speed of NBN Satellite Services may vary depending on your location in Australia, your modem's signal strength and satellite network congestion and could be as high as 6/1 Mbps
Payment
- You can pay for your monthly fees automatically via your credit card or via direct debit from a nominated bank account. If you do not wish to pay using either of these options, we will accept payment equivalent to six months in advance via cheque or money order.
- Subscription fees for the first and last months are billed on a pro-rata basis on the 10th of the month. ie If you are connected on the 15th of the month, then the first and last months subscription will be for half a month at your full monthly cost.
